Process Overview
For our first project in 3D Graphics, we took an already existing 2D logo and made it 3D. We started by identifying issues, causes, and areas of interest that we are passionate about. Then we reflected and wrote about why one particular area is personally significant. We then researched organizations or businesses that are connected to and support one or more of those areas we selected. Acting as graphic designers doing volunteer work to support a meaningful cause, we redesigned their already existing 2D logo as a 3D graphic - free of charge!
In order to complete the construction of a newly created 3D graphic, we used skills we learned to build the submarine exercise, which included primitive shapes, splines, shape expanders, and shape deformers. Lastly, we learned how to add color, materials, and lighting to make the new logo more contemporary.

Scooter, Pumpkin and Snowglobe Project
For our second project, we created snowglobes and scooters in Cinema 4D. This project focused largely on the use of materials like glass, metal, etc and how to use simulation tags to speed up animation. For this project, I first made trees on a snowy surface. I then put rocks in and added a snowman. I then added emmiters to make it look like its snowing. I then added a toilet for my snowman. For my scooter, I created a red, black and white scooter. I added a North Mythology design (because I am Norewgian). I also added text onto the base of the scooter to say "Andrews Whip." For our Halloween class, I decided to create a pumpkin out of splines, torus's and spheres.

3D Printer X-Mas Design
I made Norwegian pendant for my mother. And I bobblehead for myself.

Yayoi Kusama World Project
In honour of Yayoi Kusama we created two worlds in cinema 4D. We made a happy and a scary world. We used photoshop to create textures and then exported them to cinema 4D. The poka dot and mirror world is my scary world because I hate clowns and sketchy mirrors. My happy world has a lake with a palm tree and a ski mountain.
